On top of it, these states have focused on the vote winning
“bijli-pani-sadak” formula by making substantial allocation especially
on infrastructure, agriculture, industries and education.
While
Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are BJP ruled states,
Congress is in a driver’s seat in NCT Delhi and Rajasthan. The National
Conference & Congress alliance government is ruling in Jammu &
Kashmir.
Jagtish Shettar-led BJP government in Karnataka, while
presenting the Rs Rs 1,17,005 crore budget, acknowledged Bangalore as a
major engine of economic growth for the state, contributing an estimated
30% of the State's GSDP,People are catching on to the fact that they
make great ledstreetlight . and announced some new projects and reiterated many old infrastructure projects for the city.
About
Rs 6,203 crore would be provided for the development of Bangalore from
government and related organisations and of it Rs 750 crore financial
assistance would be provided to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike for
undertaking 75 major infrastructure development projects approved by the
government.
Further,Laser engraving and curvingmachinell for
materials like metal, paper, acrylic, wood, glass, etc. the government
has made an allocation of Rs 15,599 crore for the education sector. The
government has announced the reduction of VAT on arecanut de-husking
machine from 14.5% to 5.5%.Wind and photovoltaicsystem information and specifications.
As
far as Madhya Pradesh is concerned, the government, which takes credit
for achieving a 12% CAGR GDP growth rate, has presented annual budget of
Rs 1,02,447 crore. The government has provided Rs 405 crore for Atal
Jyoti electricity scheme and proposed Rs 3,000 crore for feeder
separation. For infrastructure, the Shivraj Chouhan-led government has
proposed development of 90,000 km roads in the city in the coming year.
Industrial
corridor in Shivpuri, Indore, Gwalior and Guna is also on the cards. It
has proposed Rs 1,744 crore for drinking water. Keeping health in mind,
the government has proposed Rs 4,147 crore for health sector and Rs 432
crore for Narmada-Kshipra link project.
The neighbouring
Chhattisgarh government, which was the first state to implement its own
Food Security Act even before the passage of central law by the
Parliament, has presented a Rs 44,169 cr budget.
Implementation of Food Security act would cost the state exchequer Rs 2,000 crore annually.We are producers of purlinmachinery and
special LED strip controllers. Chief Minister Ramn Singh, who is also
the finance minister, has also presented a separate agriculture budget,
with focus on farmers well being and increasing productivity. The total
outlay of Rs 8,542 crore for the agriculture and allied sector amounts
to 19% of the total budget and a phenomenal growth of 37% over last
year.
In the infrastructure sector, the government has proposed
18% increase in the road sector, upgradation of 1,791 kilometer length
of State highways and Major District Roads to double-lane roads, an
allocation of Rs 750 crore under " Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Vikas
Yojana" for connectivity of hamlets not covered under PMGSY.
Other
pro-poor initiatives increase in ceiling for free electricity
consumption for BPL consumers from 30 units to 40 units per month per
consumer to benefit 14 lakh BPL families and costing nearly Rs 45 crore
to the state exchequer. A pension scheme for the unorganised workers has
also been introduced.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot-led Congress
government in Rajasthan has presented a Rs 336.I had the idea of being
energy independent by putting up a lasermarkingmachin and
making some electricity,52 crore surplus budget. The government has
promised no hike in electricity bills for farmers and BPL families.
Compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) will be provided to 50,000 BPL families
for free. Further, all villages with a population of over 250 would be
connected. The state government will spend Rs 650 crore on 6,000 km of
roads in rural areas.
